54 posts · Joined 2023. #1 · Apr 3, 2023. Hey all, I bought a 43x and have shot less than 100 rounds through it. I’ve experienced 3 failures to extract. Not stovepipes - the case is oriented as it is in the chamber but it stuck halfway out the ejection port. I’m using shield Gen 2 mags with the right mag release.

Just received a new upper parts kit today and used the plunger from that kit and it works. So, for whatever reason that particular plunger doesn't work in the 19 slide. Inspected the plunger and it looks fine. Btw. I contacted MDX and sent videos.

That pointy end goes into the spring, the other smooth round metal end goes against the ejector, then the plastic bearing goes in the spring and the black plastic bears against the plastic rear cover.I have done research on this specific issues and other people have had the exact same issues, multiple YouTube videos showing my exact issue.
